The heart and soul of SILCA. The 731 washer is the same washer used in all Pista pumps for 60 plus years, and is crafted from the same leather as Italian handbags and sports car interiors. From a purely functional standpoint, inexpensive o-rings are most commonly used in this application, but no o-ring can match the smooth feel and zero-stiction action of a leather gasket. It is common today to find SILCA leather gasket pumps throughout the professional peloton (especially during the spring classics) as o-ring seal pumps struggle with heat and often are unable to seal once the pump barrel is hot from inflating more than a few wheels.

A lightweight aluminum adapter allows the use of a Schrader pump on Presta tubes.

The Airchecker from SKS is a fast and easy way to check your tire pressure. The swiveling head makes it a snap to reach your presta or schrader valve stem at any angle, and the backlit display with extra-large LED digits is always easy to read. This gauge measures up to 144 psi and reads in 10ths of psi.

Lezyne's Slip Chuck is the perfect solution for getting to those hard-to-reach valve stems, especially on disc wheels. It's precision-machined from aluminum and is designed to fit Presta valves on deep-dish carbon disc wheels.
